As we look at the Tyson & Cargill settlement for $87.5 million from just this past week, we shouldn't forget that Brazilian owned beef packer, JBS, settled earlier in 2025 for $83.5 million to fed cattle sellers for anti-trust claims. Tyson & Cargill in the time frame of 2014-2019 had a combined net profit estimating around $10-$15 billion. JBS had even agreed to provide the evidence for malpractice against themselves & other defendants. This was claimed to have happened 2015-2020. This was claimed against all four packers, but only JBS has enough of a guilty conscious to work together.
We now have three of the four major packers settling in lawsuits just in the last 9 months. As we turn the other cheek & the mainstream media doesn't blink an eye, the monopoly lobbyists in DC stay in control.
National Beef, based in Kansas City, Mo, is remaining giant to fend off any settlements or convictions. With a moutain of paper work now working against them, it is estimated they will fall as well with time.
